Veggie burger with Asian inspired ingredients

Veggie Burger Patties
- 1 tin chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 1 carrot grated
- 2 spring onions
- 1 tbsp ginger finely grated
- 2 garlic cloves roughly chopped
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp mirin
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 25 grams panko breadcrumbs or any other breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Asian Slaw
- 1/2 cabbage
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 green onion thinly sliced
Slaw Dressing
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- salt and pepper to taste
Burger Buns
- Buns of your choosing
- mayonaise
- sriracha
Combine all the ingredients for the patties in a food processor and pule until you get your desired consistency.
Make the patties about the same size as your buns.
Fry with a tbsp of oil at a medium heat until golden brown.
Mix all the ingredients for the slaw dressing. Be sure to taste for seasoning and adjust to suit your taste.
Mix with the slaw.
Lightly toast burger bun and spread on mayonnaise and sriracha.
Add burger to the bun and top with slaw.

Swap out ingredients and make this burger your own.
Use black beans instead of chickpeas, if you wish.
